Aquarium-themed party this Friday!

You are invited to a party on  Friday, November 20th from 8-10 PM SLT! We are celebrating my husband Jerremy Darwin's second Rez Day.

The party will be held in a giant aquarium that we built in the water next to Starting Point. Please dress in the theme of things you'd find in an aquarium! That means fish, merpeople, etc. or just wear a swimsuit! 

Alicia Chenaux will be our DJ for the evening so I know it will be a great time!

New Game Room Location

We have moved the game room from its previous location to the room directly behind the pool area. We are still building and decorating, but the games are still operable during the renovation.

We still have connect four, simon, hangman and whack-a-mole for you to enjoy.

We added a photo board in the game room - so if you want to share pictures, just drop them on Tymmerie Thorne in-world. We are looking for pictures of current and past residents as well as member of our Helper Team.

Tymmerie Thorne and Jerremy Darwin are hosting a Halloween party inside of a mad scientist's laboratory. You are invited to be subjects in an experiment in fun!

Come to Sickened Life Laboratory on Wednesday, October 28th from 8:00-10:00 PM SLT for a costume party!

Starting Point "Graduate" Opens an Art Gallery with a PARTY!

The long-awaited grand opening of the Swirly Disco Flames gallery will be held this Friday, September 25th at 10:00 PM SLT. Click here for a TP to the gallery and party!

Come along and join host, Marnix Malifozik, as he officially launch his new artistic venture. And bring some friends - it's a party after all!

HUMP DAY Dance Party!!

Join us for a "Back to School" Themed dance party on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 8:00 PM -10:00 PM SLT! Music will be provided by DJ Alicia Chenaux! Dress in theme (HS sports uniforms, band, school girl/boy, teacher, librarian -- be creative!) or just come as you are! We'll be in a party location that Jerremy Darwin and Tymmerie Thorne built - Ghambt Community Center's basketball gymnasium!

CONTEST for New SL Residents!! Win $Lindens!

NCI is holding a Blitz Avatar Makeover Contest today from 1:00-2:00 PM SLT at Boomer Island.

Per the SL Events calendar:

"The object of this contest is to test your appearance editing skills by modifying the appearance of a Library avatar to create a new avatar built to a theme of the host's choosing. Contestants may use any clothing or textures from the Library or create new clothing in appearance mode.

Contestants will have 40 minutes to give their avatar a makeover. After this there will be a vote and the winners will be announced. Linden dollar prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as determined by the voting.

Pre-made clothing and non-Library uploaded textures are not permitted. Contestants may be asked to name the original items in the Library that have been used.

Linden prizes for winners under 90 days in SL. Those over 90 days win 'bragging rights'."

NCI Building Basics Class - Two sessions today!!!

The class, Building Basics, given by NCI is a prerequisite for many of their other courses. The class is being held twice today - at 10:00 AM (at Boomer Island) and at 7:00 PM (at Hamnida).

If you are interesting in building, scripting, making clothing, etc. be sure to catch a session of this class at some point!
